A well-established organisation is searching for a Accountant to join their team. This role will be working as part of an established team and will be on a 6 month fixed term contract. About the Role
Reporting into a senior finance leader, this role will support the finance function across core accounting and reporting activities. You will be hands on and involved in day to day accounting, while also contributing to period end processes and stakeholder reporting.
Key responsibilities will include
- Month end close, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of management reports and financial analysis
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Supporting audit and compliance requirements
- Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring data integrity
- Responding to internal stakeholder queries and providing financial insights
- Assisting with process improvement initiatives and ad hoc finance projects
- Ad hoc analysis and finance support as required
You are a qualified Accountant who is comfortable operating in a dynamic environment and can hit the ground running.
To be successful, you will bring
- ACCA, CIMA, CA or CPA qualification
- Experience in financial and management accounting
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
- Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
