Backed by a Australian private equity firm, the business has doubled in revenue over the past three years and is now entering its next phase of growth. This is a high impact leadership opportunity for a commercially driven marketing professional to take full ownership of the end to end marketing function, spanning brand, digital, performance marketing, CRM, and creative strategy.
 
About The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the executive leadership team, the Chief Digital & Marketing Officer will lead the brand's global digital, eCommerce, brand and marketing functions.
 
This is not a purely strategic role. The business operates at pace with a high cadence of product launches, campaigns and cross-hemisphere execution. The successful candidate will need to operate effectively at both the executive and the highly operational level simultaneously.
 
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Scaling DTC growth across Australia, New Zealand and the United States
  • Leading world-class performance marketing execution and driving paid media efficiency
  • Overseeing the ongoing Shopify consolidation, site redesign and omnichannel roadmap
  • Simplifying and structuring the marketing calendar across 100+ SKUs and multiple channels
  • Elevating brand execution and creative quality in partnership with the founders
  • Managing and mentoring a multidisciplinary team across digital, eCommerce, brand, content and social
  • Overseeing agency relationships across performance, creative, PR and development
  • Partnering closely with founders and investors to support enterprise value creation
 
About You

We're looking for an operations-based marketer first, someone who brings structure, rigour and executional excellence, with enough creative instinct to help evolve a brand that already has strong bones.
 
You will bring:
  • Senior DTC or eCommerce leadership experience within a high-growth consumer business
  • Strong technical performance marketing capability, you can read the numbers, interrogate the results and hold a team accountable
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills, this business moves fast and complexity is real
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams across multiple markets or time zones
  • A commercial mindset with strong financial literacy
  • High EQ and the natural ability to thrive in a founder-led, collaborative environment
  • US market exposure is a strong advantage
  • Shopify platform experience is highly regarded
  • Fashion or lifestyle experience is advantageous but not essential, we are genuinely open to exceptional operators from any digitally native consumer category
