About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to take ownership of the accounts receivable function. In this end-to-end role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing outstanding debts, and building strong relationships with both clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts receivable function, including invoicing and debtor management
- Upload invoices and bank statements into the system
- Complete bank reconciliations and clear unallocated payments
- Allocate funds and reconcile customer accounts in a timely and accurate manner
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts, ensuring timely collections
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve queries or billing discrepancies
- Process billing adjustments and reversals in compliance with internal standards
- Maintain accurate records for compliance and audit purposes
- 3–5 years’ experience in credit control or accounts receivable
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first approach
- Confident in managing client relationships over the phone and by email
- High attention to detail with solid problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems
- Able to prioritise workload and work independently as well as part of a team
