About The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll be responsible for overseeing core finance functions and ensuring compliance with APRA regulatory reporting requirements. This is a broad role, ideal for someone who is confident working both independently and as part of a wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and submission of APRA reports, including regular lodgements and compliance updates
- Month-end close and preparation of management accounts
- Oversight of general ledger and financial control processes
- Budgeting and forecasting support
- Liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Supporting the Head of Finance with ad-hoc analysis and process improvement initiatives
- CA/CPA qualified with a strong background in financial services
- Proven experience with APRA reporting requirements
- Solid technical accounting skills and understanding of regulatory compliance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
