About the Role

This is a hands on leadership role responsible for overseeing all core corporate services functions. You will manage finance operations, payroll compliance, budgeting, reporting and vendor management.  You will report directly to the Board and lead the bookkeeper, ensuring all financial activity is accurate, timely and aligned with organisational goals.

Key responsibilities include
  • Managing all financial accounts including payables, receivables, cash flow and the general ledger
  • Preparing monthly workpapers, weekly and monthly reporting, BAS, payroll tax, super and STP finalisation
  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Ensuring compliance with tax, financial regulation and audit requirements
  • Administering vendor relationships, purchase orders and invoice approvals
  • Supporting HR on payroll, onboarding, terminations and employee reimbursements
  • Coordinating IT related expenses and documentation
  • Assisting with contract management and ensuring compliance with financial obligations
  • Leading continuous improvement across corporate services
About You

You are a confident corporate services leader with strong financial capability and excellent communication skills. You enjoy being across the detail, you take ownership of outcomes and you operate with professionalism and integrity. Your experience enables you to work closely with all parts of the business and provide trusted advice to senior leaders.

You will bring
  • A degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field
  • CA/CPA Qualified
  • At least five years experience in a corporate services or accounting management role, ideally in a small business environment
  • Strong analytical and data modelling skills
  • Proficiency with Xero and systems such as Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and a collaborative working style
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • High standards of accuracy, attention to detail and professional conduct
  • A proactive, can do attitude and the ability to build effective relationships
