You will work closely with Sales, Finance, Sourcing, and Operations to maintain the highest standards in customer service, operational efficiency and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Governance
- Lead and manage the senior leadership team to ensure alignment with business strategy and goals
- Contribute to Executive Committee (Exco) meetings, board discussions, and monthly reporting
- Develop business strategies in line with organisational vision and market demands
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and high performance
- Support national sales and business development leads to retain key accounts and drive growth
- Represent the business at industry conferences and networking opportunities to enhance profile and relationships
- Actively support national new business acquisition and client retention efforts
- Travel nationally to build strong relationships with current and prospective clients
- Partner with the Finance Manager to deliver budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial governance
- Monitor inventory to achieve return on investment and manage stock efficiency
- Ensure timely and accurate communication of financial information to the board
- Support sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring timely deliveries and cost-effective purchasing
- Maintain strong relationships with offshore suppliers to ensure quality and delivery targets are met
- Collaborate with operations and fulfilment teams to ensure service levels are maintained and improved
- Foster a positive and solutions-focused team culture
- Lead by example with professionalism, a proactive mindset and commitment to excellence
- Act as brand custodian, ensuring customer issues are managed swiftly and reputational risk is mitigated
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and professionalism in all business dealings
- Champion safe working practices and compliance with Health & Safety protocols
- Ensure adherence to company policies, including expense management and reporting
- Provide high-level support to the Global CEO on special projects and strategic priorities
- Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to evolving business needs and priorities

- Proven experience in a General Manager or senior leadership role within a retail, product or service-based business
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of operational levers for growth
- A track record of building high-performing teams and achieving strategic goals
