About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with 1–2 years’ experience in accounts to take ownership of the accounts receivable function in a supportive, fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with debtor management, and building strong relationships with both internal teams and clients.
This role offers exposure to the full end-to-end accounts receivable process and is ideal for someone who’s eager to learn, grow, and develop their career in finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the full accounts receivable process, including invoicing and debtor follow-up
- Upload invoices and bank statements into the accounting system
- Help complete bank reconciliations and allocate incoming payments accurately
- Support the monitoring of outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue payments
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to resolve queries or billing discrepancies
- Assist with processing billing adjustments and ensuring compliance with internal processes
- Maintain accurate records to support compliance and audit activities
- A recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (or currently completing your degree)
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Confident working with numbers and building client relationships
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning new systems
- Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and work both independently and within a team
