About the role
This senior role leads the commercial finance function, partnering closely with the executive team, Board, site operations and external strategic partners. You will shape strategic decisions, drive financial performance and provide the insights required to support operational and growth priorities.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Acting as the primary commercial advisor to senior leaders on strategy, investments and transformation initiatives
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and long range planning across the group
- Delivering deep financial and commercial analysis to highlight trends, value drivers, risks and opportunities
- Overseeing performance reporting, KPIs, dashboards and executive insights
- Driving cost efficiency, resource optimisation and commercial discipline across operations
- Partnering with site based teams to align financial outcomes with operational plans
- Enhancing financial literacy across the organisation through coaching and business partnering
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls, governance frameworks and accounting standards while working closely with the financial controller

You will bring:
- A degree in finance, accounting or a related field, with CA or CPA qualifications highly regarded
- Significant senior experience in commercial finance, FP&A, business partnering or a similar leadership role
- Strong analytical capability, advanced modelling skills and confidence working with BI tools and ERP systems
- A proactive, strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear commercial recommendations
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executives, boards, site leaders and external partners
- Experience in resources or complex operational industries is advantageous but not essential
- A resilient, commercially focused leader who thrives in dynamic environments
