About the Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Head of FP&A is a newly created role designed to deliver strategic insights and drive financial decision-making. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, business case analysis, and cash flow management, while collaborating with senior leaders across the business. This is a role for a commercially savvy leader who can balance hands-on execution with strategic influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and establish the FP&A function, setting best-practice frameworks and delivering accurate budgets, forecasts, and financial models that align with group strategy and support high-stakes decision-making.
- Partner closely with executives, board members, and senior business leaders to interpret complex financial data and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations that drive growth, efficiency, and profitability.
- Design and enhance performance reporting and analytical tools, including dashboards, KPIs, and BI solutions, to improve transparency, accountability, and speed of decision-making across the organisation.
- Lead scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis, and long-range planning to evaluate risks, identify opportunities, and inform strategic initiatives such as capital allocation, M&A, and new market entry.
- Drive commercial analysis and investment appraisal, supporting business cases for new initiatives and ensuring robust financial evaluation of growth strategies.
- Embed FP&A as a trusted business partner across the group functions, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives and contributing to operational and financial performance improvements.
- Streamline processes and reporting structures within FP&A to build scalability and efficiency as the organisation continues to expand.
- Act as a key advisor to the CFO and senior leadership team, providing forward-looking insights and recommendations on financial strategy.
- CA/CPA qualified with extensive FP&A leadership experience
- Proven expertise across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow analysis
- Experience in high-growth or global organisations; with previous background in big 4 or mid-tier environment advantageous
- Advanced financial modelling and strong Power BI/ERP skills
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset, focused on continuous improvement
- Exceptional communicator able to influence senior stakeholders with data-driven insights
