Our client is an ASX-listed industry leader, known for valuing passion, collaboration, and innovation. This is a hands-on role requiring close collaboration with senior management, playing a critical part in financial reporting and acting as a key partner to the Group Executive.
 
About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, you’ll oversee statutory and internal financial reporting, drive financial transparency, ensure compliance with ASX and international standards, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidate regional results and prepare group statutory financial reports.
  • Lead external audits and manage auditor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with ASX and regulatory reporting obligations (4C, 4D, 4E).
  • Deliver high-quality monthly management reports and strategic variance analysis.
  • Oversee technical accounting matters and support regional finance teams.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and governance across all reporting activities.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to the executive leadership team.
  • Drive operational efficiency and support long-term growth initiatives.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to align financial and business goals.
About You
  • Fully qualified accountant (CA/CPA) with extensive experience in financial accounting.
  • Previous Big 4 experience highly desirable, along with a successful move into industry.
  • Experience within Medical Services, Healthcare or FMCG sectors is highly regarded.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, with a proven track record in complex group financial reporting.
  • Experience managing financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions, with deep knowledge of AIFRS/IFRS.
  • Ability to balance strategic responsibilities with hands-on execution, acting as both a 'doer' and a 'reviewer'.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, able to produce clear reports for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, with a focus on strong business partnerships.
  • Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Experience with NetSuite and Power BI will be viewed favourably.
